This was my first opportunity to drive business success in the pharmaceutical sector.
I then advanced to the position of Chief Operations Officer at Karibu (Genius) Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, also in Lusaka, Zambia. Here, I honed my leadership skills across various domains, including Strategic Planning, Administration & HR, Business Development, Inventory Management, Procurement Analysis and Logistics, Market/Competitor Analysis, Channel Management, Brand Building/Promotion, Training, Client Relationship Management, Team Leadership, Tender Management, Product Registration, Product Launch, Client Retention, and Cost Control. This role required a high level of operational agility and strategic insight. I successfully navigated the complexities of pharmaceutical logistics, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation within the team.
