Nova Benefits, an Employee Wellness Platform has initiated a mental wellness plan for the employees of the company. Nova partnered with Manah Health and Wellness as a part of its strategy to help the employees in need. Every expense made will be incurred by employees for mental health purposes, including weekly counseling sessions, are compensated by the company.
This is a notable benefit for employees as it gives them the privilege to go to counselors of their choice, without worrying about the cost of the expenses, provided the consultations can be expensive. Nova has raised $10 million Series A funding from investors that include SIG, Bessemer, Multiply Ventures, Better Capital, and Titan Capital.

Saransh Garg, CEO, and co-founder of Nova Benefits proclaims, “Our mission at Nova is to build happier and healthier workplaces. We’re doing so by making health benefits easy to use and personalized, and our goal is to cover 10 million people in India by 2025.”
This plan will let employees take control of their health holistically, with our support at every step.
Facilities provided by the Company
The company also gives facilities to its employees unlimited and no-questions-asked leave, under the indefinite leave policy. Additionally, employees are instructed to take a break after every forty-five days of constant work. Along with the wellness benefits, the company also furnishes pet care, child care, and period leaves, along with menstrual time off. The employees are also given free permits to Practo, for any of their physical healthcare needs. The facilities are however provided and granted to the employees irrespective of their location.
The Central government recently announced the ‘National Tele Mental Health’ program, as a part of the Union Budget 2022 publicizing tele-mental health facilities to extend the reach of mental wellness services even to the most secluded areas.
